Aerospace Painting & Topcoat Application
Aerospace-grade primers, topcoats, and dry film lubricants qualified to military specifications. Applied over properly prepared and pre-treated substrates for maximum adhesion and durability.
Aerospace painting requires careful surface preparation, primer application, and topcoat selection to achieve the corrosion protection, chemical resistance, and appearance required by aerospace and defense customers. Electron Plating III applies aerospace paint systems as a complement to our chemical pre-treatment capabilities — parts can be anodized or chemical film treated and painted in a single source.
We apply epoxy primers per MIL-PRF-23377, MIL-DTL-53022, MIL-P-53030, and MIL-P-85582. Topcoats are applied per MIL-PRF-8582, MIL-DTL-53039, and MIL-DTL-64159. All painting is performed in a controlled environment to minimize contamination and ensure consistent film thickness and appearance.
Dry film lubricants per AS5271 and MIL-PRF-46010 are also available. Dry film lubricants provide low-friction, wear-resistant coatings for aerospace fasteners, actuators, and sliding mechanisms where liquid lubricants are not suitable.
