Testing & Inspection

Quality verification is integral to every job we process. Our inspection capabilities support the documentation and traceability requirements of aerospace and defense customers, providing objective evidence that finished parts meet the applicable specification requirements.

Liquid penetrant inspection is performed per ASTM E1417 to detect surface-breaking discontinuities on non-porous materials. Magnetic particle inspection is performed per ASTM E1444 to detect surface and near-surface discontinuities in ferromagnetic materials. Both methods are widely required by aerospace and defense customers as part of their incoming or in-process inspection requirements.

Coating thickness is verified using calibrated eddy current and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) instruments. Salt spray corrosion testing is conducted in our in-house salt spray cabinet per ASTM B117. Hardness testing supports our electroless nickel and hard anodize processes. All inspection equipment is maintained on a calibration schedule traceable to NIST standards. Certificates of conformance and test reports are provided with each shipment as required.
